CONNECT Community Fair

CONNECT with your community Oct. 3

KENNEBUNK — CONNECT with your community at the  third annual CONNECT fair to be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the South Tower at the Livewell Center in Kennebunk.

We have nearly 50 nonprofits participating in today's fair! We'll give you a "passport" at the door, with the idea of visiting, participating and experiencing as many tables as you can, collecting stamps along the way. Enjoy the experience, then turn in your completed passport (20 or more) for your chance to win prizes,

Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, Southern Maine Health Care, and the Livewell Center tenants, the fair will feature the nonprofit businesses and services located within Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel — our "three towns, one community." Admission is free for everyone, and all local nonprofits serving the Kennebunks and Arundel are invited to participate.

New this year, Southern Maine Health Care in conjunction with the fair will hold an open house at its walk-in clinic in the North Tower, which will feature all of its many and diverse practices. Former Celtics player and television analyst Brian Scalabrine will be on hand to sign autographs as part of the festivities.

Designed for both new and longtime residents of any age, the nonprofit fair is also about increasing awareness of the wide variety of services and opportunities available to all ages in our community.

Prizes include a signed Brian Scalabrine Celtics jersey from SMHC, a two-night stay at the remodeled Yatchsman Hotel & Marina Club, courtesy of the Kennebunkport Resort Collection, two personal training sessions with SMHC trainers, a Brick Store Museum gift bag with a family membership, books, etc., a year's membership to The Center, and more!
