Get clear on what’s most important to you in your career and in your life.
Come join Anush Hansen, Certified Career Counselor and owner of Kennebunk Counseling, for a special Driven Women series group event. Anush will lead a fun and interactive career values card sort exercise that will help you clarify and prioritize what you truly want out of your career, and affirm what you need for achieving a healthier work-life balance.
Is it possible to have a career and a life you love? We think YES!
Fulfillment in your work and your life is very much dependent on your career being in line with your values. Knowing your values and priorities can help you make better career decisions and find a job that speaks true to who you are, and provides you with the opportunities you need to thrive.
But how do you figure out what those values are? And how can you align those values with your current job or when looking for a new one? This highly interactive group activity will help you sort through it all, build self-awareness, and give you valuable information to help you move closer to having the kind of career and life you want.
WHAT IS IT?
An interactive career values and work/life balance card sort exercise and discussion activity.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Women at ANY stage in their career (i.e., whether you’re currently working or not) who want to learn more about how they can match their career values to the work they do, and find more fulfillment in their work & life.
"Tell me a story" instagram workshop
Learn how to create inspiring instagram "stories" for your business at our morning workshop at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at the Chamber office. Maggie Sutherland from SeacoastLately.com will be our guest presenter on best practices and examples of her work that resonates with her followers.
Seacoast Lately is a lifestyle resource that celebrates the incredible people, beautiful spaces, stunning scenery, and inspiring small businesses that make our pocket of New England truly shine!
Maggie Sutherland is the gal who dreamed up Seacoast Lately circa 2015. As a New Castle, New Hampshire native, Maggie has always loved the ocean and small-town charm of the Seacoast. Though she’s lived in Maine, France, and New York City, she can’t seem to get away from this magical pocket of New England. We think it’s safe to say, she’s hooked! When Maggie’s “out of office”, you may catch her strolling around town checking out new shops and restaurants, spending time with her family, or enjoying time in the great outdoors—in every season!
The workshop is free and open to the public with RSVP at 967-0857 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
