Christmas Prelude at the Maine Central Model Railroad, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Explore the newest exhibit at Seashore Trolley Museum; the Maine Central Model Railroad, decked out for the holidays. Try your hand at operating HO-scale trains along 3,000 feet of HO-scale track through beautifully modeled Maine cities and towns. Participate in an interactive scavenger hunt and hunt for items in the layout. Docent-guided tours of the model railroad and historic structures included on the layout will be offered when requested. Roast marshmallows over Seashore’s outdoor fire pit (weather permitting; included in admission). $3 per person. Tickets available at the door (no online sales)

Gingerbread Decorating at Auntie’s House Bakery, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Ride in heated trolleys decked out in live holiday greens on our private heritage railroad, shop in the Museum Store, check out several exhibits and displays including the new model railroad building, and enjoy delicious hot chocolate! Only $14/person; children 2 and under that will be sitting on laps on the trolley ride are free. Santa will also be on campus during three event days–see below for times!
