The York County Elder Abuse Task Force, established in 2005, is a group of committed professionals from many fields, including but not limited to law enforcement, social services, legal services, advocacy entities, community members, retired professionals and financial institutions. Beacon Cottage is welcoming space where older adults connect, learn and gain the tools and support needed to prevent elder exploitation, fraud and abuse as well as a HUB for Maine’s Elder Justice Investigator.
