Visiting the Kennebunks but the rain has you packing up your beach day? No worries!

Here are some suggestions for the perfect Rainy Day Fun!

Kennebunk’s Main Street has several shops, such as Kennebunk Toy Co., or head down to Dock Square for retro toys at Daytrip Junior and games and puzzles at Toys in the Attic.

 An afternoon exploring the Maine Classic Car Museum’s astounding collection of cars from all decades will certainly hit the spot.

There are plenty of kid-friendly shows around, with offerings at the Ogunquit Playhouse, City Theater in Biddeford and Vinegar Hill Music Theatre in Arundel.

 For kid-friendly fare, ask for a seat near the window overlooking the river and enjoy a meal at Federal Jack’s, or pub fare at Alisson’s, Duffy’s and Sebago Lake Brewing, among others!

Intown Trolley has a tour that takes under an hour but is filled with great sights and tour guides that are both lively and knowledgeable.

The Seashore Trolley Museum offers a covered trolley ride into the woods and back. Kids of all ages love it here!

Brick Store Museum has some pretty cool exhibits that offer a glimpse into the region’s past, including its shipbuilding history.

The Kennebunk Free Library and Louis T. Graves Library in Kennebunkport are wonderful rain or shine.

The Local Bottega offers craft kits and an open crafting space for kids. They also have a lot of family friendly activities! Take a look and find some fun in this creative and welcoming space.
