**Holiday Trail of Lights is postponed for this year (December 2022). Check back again next year!**

Holiday Trail of Lights to illuminate the Kennebunks for second year (December 2021).

Building on its success last year, the Holiday Trail of Lights is returning to the Kennebunks this holiday season.

The Holiday Trail of Lights contest celebrates the holiday with a very friendly competition between homes and businesses to “out-decorate” each other— all to benefit community not-for-profits, all in a socially distant and festive way. This is a perfect event for families and visitors to enjoy a self-guided drive through Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel all lit up in celebration of the holidays!

Light displays will be up beginning Dec. 3 and continue through Jan. 3, 2022.

This year, there are 46 participants sponsoring 34 different nonprofits. Spectators will be asked to vote for those participants who created the most festive, over-the-top, Hallmark-worthy displays on the Holiday Trail of Lights website for $5 a vote. One hundred percent of the donated funds will go to the not-for-profit partner of the house or business receiving the vote. Grand Prize winners will receive an extra $500 for their selected organization!
